SSIS Christmas Charity Bazaar!

Today we went to the bazaar and it was so much fun! Let me show you what I did.

First we got our faces painted: Dad, Mehar, & me!

Dad got an egg on his head. Dad's weird.

Then we played Twister! I won!

Now it is time for everyone’s favorite, the BOUNCY CASTLE!

I bumped into Mehar & we fell down!

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s…

… a bird-plane!

I was thinking about my birthday & going to Hong Kong Disneyland! (Mom promised!) Then I was thinking about the Angry Birds. Suddenly, I could see getting on a bird to fly somewhere!

Don’t worry, it’s not real. It is just my drawing. But I put windows on the bird to make it look like a plane. And a party hat because it is my birthday. And that’s another bird plane flying over the top.

Puppy Visit!

The puppies are very cute. I like to play with them. Sometimes they are scared of me. Sometimes they climb on me and stare at me from very close!

Kieu Anh, Giang’s sister, has let us keep her two new puppies for the weekend.

Tonight, Papa & I are going to build a tent in the living room so we can all camp out together! It will be such fun! But, also, the puppies would play in tent with us. Camping will be much more fun with puppies!

A Halloween Story

The Brave Hamster on Halloween

The brave Hamster climbs down into the scary Halloween world

The brave little Hamster climbs down into the scary Halloween world of ghosts, bats, & jack-o-lanterns. There is an orange & black jack-o-lantern just like in the new Halloween Angry Birds! And there is a scary ghost. But, the Hamster is brave.

The bats & ghosts chase the brave Hamster. She is scared, but she is brave. As long as she is brave, the ghosts & bats cannot get her. She walks on.

Did you hear a ghost?

Halloween is coming! There is a ghost living in Grand Papa’s room until 1 November! I’m not afraid. I am brave. But, I keep my door shut at night. Papa says that ghosts don’t bother people who wear pajamas & brush their teeth, so I put on my pajamas right a way & brush my teeth extra well every night. The ghosts haven’t bothered me.

I’m really looking forward to Halloween! We dress in costumes, have a parade at school, & go to our friend’s houses to collect candy! There are lots of ghosts & witches out, but I’m not afraid. I am brave.

Dad goes with me when we trick-or-treat. It’s really neat. I remember the year we were pirates. This year we will be penguins.

Of Cranes & Fish

It’s only 10:00 AM and already I’ve had a lot of fun! I was remembering when my friend Mehar was here last Friday so I drew this picture:

Mehar & I are hamsters! Can you see my big hamster teeth? I caught a Smurf with my crane. Mehar caught an Angry Bird pig with hers. That is her behind me. I had to draw Mehar small because I drew my head so big. I put the crane claws on the sides of the pictures.

This is what I’d look like if I lived in a fish bowl! Pretty funny!

Now we’re going to see “The Three Musketeers!” What a great Sunday so far!
