Forlorn duckling
Compare the eyes on the duck to those of the other animals. The vertical and oblong ovals strongly suggest worry and fear. Look at where she started the line of the head, the body, the cage. Each starting place suggests that she has planned to some degree the use of her space & where the object she has drawn will appear in relation to already sketched parts & the parts to come. Am I reading into this here? Nothing is squeezed into space or drawn over one another. They are laid out into clear and neat frames on the page.
