November 4, 2010: Today I offer two House related anecdotes to illustrate La Petite Fille’s vast intellectual and emotional quotient. They are sure to leave you feeling awed, shocked, and as proud as I am of her insight into the human condition that is so rawly on display. All on Around the House.

November 3, 2010: I just upgraded to a newer version of wordpress, so let me know if anything is missing or a link doesn’t work or something. Um… that is if anyone is really out there and reading this or anything.

October 25, 2o1o: It was back to school today and La Petite Fille brought home her very first homework assignment! You can read all about that, see some of her latest art, and a fun little anecdote all on Around the House!

October 24, 2010: I’ve updated Around the House – again! You’ll notice a bit of editorial alteration as now all the pics are thumbnail-sized and you’ll have to click on them for the larger version. I’ve also uploaded even larger versions to the gallery. And, of course the two new quick picks to the right.

October 23, 2010: We’ve reviewed a couple of movies and have provided plenty of links to explain exactly what we mean. We also review our other weekend activities all on Around the House. While Fall Break is coming to an end, we’re pretty happy here at Trio Central, and we’ve all had a good rest.

October 22, 2010: The Trio had a grand time at a brand new downtown indoor playscape called Kids’ Garden! You can read all about it in Around the House. Also, you’ll be relieved to know that La Petite Fille has a brace of new passports in the works. No problems traveling now.

And, I just updated Around the House with La Petite Fille’s first visit to the dentist!

Whew! I finally got the page, Les Cousins, finished! Luckily there hasn’t been another sleep over, but when there is, I’ll be sure to update it.

October 21, 2010: There are three new blob entries on Around the House, so check them out! The Trio has been on vacation for the week and I thought I’d have a lot of time to update the site and all, but you know how the best laid plans of mice and men go. Hopefully, I’ll be able to put on a big push and get some more pics up before the end of the week, though.

September 9: I felt the need to put something up, so there’s a fresh pic from the Paris fairgrounds in the Quick Pics column and a page of La Petite Fille driving on a new page, At the Paris Fairgrounds!.

August 31: I’ve just downloaded pictures of the great weekend sleepover and posted a bunch of the videos that La Petite Fille has been watching lately! Check out “Around the House,” because that is where it is all happening baby!

August 29: I posted a narrative on “Around the House” describing the weekend we’ve had at Trio Central. Hopefully, Maman Trio will be supplying pictures later this week. Otherwise, the story will have to do.

August 28: Wow, I actually missed a couple of days here. Well, today, I thought I’d put up some of La Petite Fille’s favorite youtube vids in lieu of pictures since I am still camera-less. Check out “Around the House!”

August 25: Another day, another post! I’m on a roll! But the camera-less age wears on, however, I’m compensating with old photos and downloaded images. Check out, “Around the House” today!

August 24: Quick! Someone call a doctor, I must be sick! Three updates in three days!?! Or I’ve got some project I’m procrastinating on! Anywho, check out “Trois Valise” & “Around the House“!

23 August: Don’t know what’s gotten into me, but updates have been made to “At the Kinder Garden” & “Around the House.” While there is still a lack of pictures, there are links!

22 August: The picture-less updates continue as I have updates to “At the Kinder Garden” & “Around the House.”

21 August: I’ve updated Around the House with an entry I’m calling, “Playing Games.” Unfortunately Papa Trio’s cheap camera bit the dust, so there are no accompanying pictures. I’ve got to post more pictures from the summer so maybe that doesn’t make much of a difference.

12 August: Today was the first day of kindergarten! Enjoy! I’ve got more content up on Trois Valise now, so check that out as well, y’all!

8 August: First set of summer pictures are up! Check out the page: Trio Valise for pictures of our departure from HCMC and drive to Garmisch in the Bavarian Alps.

2 August: It has been awhile! And of course lots has happened since March. Most importantly, La Petite Fille has (i) had a birthday, (ii) been to Europe to see her uncle get married, and (iii) started getting ready for kindergarten!

I’ve filed all of the stories from this summer on a page I’m calling, Trois Valise (the Three Suitcases — thanks Maman Trio for the name).

13 March: Got the youtube video properly embedded on “Around the House” finally. Well, it’s a little large for the page, but it seems to work. Now that my licensing exam is behind me, I should have a little more time to devote to the site.

10 March: Got another post to “Around the House!” This time featuring La Petite Fille’s new favorite “movie,” Miniscule. But it really is a French TV show! There’s a youtube clip embedded in it for your perusal!

8 March: There is a new post up in “Around the House” all about birthday plans and swimming! No pictures, though. I’ve been so bad about keeping my promises that I won’t promise anything! Check out the gallery, though for more pics from the back of the xe om! Be forewarned though, some of these pics are not for weak of stomach or those not keen on becoming vegetarians!

15 February: Okay, I got some Quick Pics up. I’ll be posting a blog entry later today — knock on something resembling wood.

14 February: Not quite two weeks, so things are “better.” We’re blogging live from Anoasis Resort in Long Hai Viet Nam! I’ve processed a ton of pictures from the last eleven days, so look for them to be posted and plenty of anecdotes and other stories! It has been eventful.

5 February: I hate it that I’ve been away from the website this long, but… <insert usual suspects here>. I have added a major album to the gallery, though: Sai Gon Streets! Sai Gon Xe Om is a subalbum of photos I’ve taken from the back of motorcycle taxis as I tour the city. Later, I’ll add albums of street life and architecture and whatnot. Tet is upon us, so look for street decorations in the near future!

Check back later this weekend as La Petite Fille has been extremely busy: birthday party today, cooking pancakes for breakfast, high school dance, and the pool last weekend. I’ve got stories, anecdotes, and pictures from all of those and more to post.

23 January: We celebrated Giang’s birthday yesterday evening, albeit quite belatedly. I’ve posted a few pictures and some narrative about our small party on “Around the House.”

22 January: I’ve put updated “Around the House” with three adventures documented with plenty of pictures! One is entitled “Beetroot Humus,” and to find out why, you’ll have to read! The second is “Pet Shop Adventure” and the title is self explanatory. And the third, is “Eating Candy” as La Petite Filles demonstrates how to eat a heart-shaped sucker with great relish.

17 January: A week since the last update and what a week! I’m repor1ting from the Furama Riverside in Singapore separated from the family.

(a) I’ve found time to finish the La Grand-mere tribute page. It feels good to finish the page. I can’t wait to get home and be the Trio again and begin to find some closure.

10 January:

(a) I’ve finally gotten a tribute page to La Grand-mére de Petite Fille started. Please comment, make corrections, or send material to add.

(b) A quiet Sunday and weekend at Trio Central. Check out Around the House for the Sunday anecdotes. We’ve got time, jokes, bees, & boo boos this week.

8 January: Maman Trio called yesterday and said that her mother had been interned. It sounds like the family is coping with their loss well. The siblings and her father certainly love and appreciate each other. They have pulled together marvelously in order to memorialize their mother.

La grandmaman de La Petite Fille will be missed.

In the meantime, I’ve updated Around the House with a brief anecdote. Hopefully more will come over the weekend.

6 January: La Petite Fille lost her grandmamman today at about 7:00 AM. La Petite Fille’s world just lost a little less bright. It’s been a hard Christmas…

28 December: New posts up on the Christmas page! Babysitting Les Petite Cousines! Things have been moving pretty quickly around here. The Marshall Trio has switched places with Onc Pierre et Tante Sophie, so now are ensconced at Les Suites while l’onc et tante are at the Westin. Shhhhh, don’t tell the folks at the Westin.

27 December: Well, the quick pics idea is a good one, but it ain’t so quick to update and time seems to be a premium. Neither is the Christmas page, but I will try to get to it today, sometime. Check out the Boxing Day album in the Gallery of Pictures. We had a great time at the Imax theater — La Petite Fille loved the big big screen — and then to the exhibits oat the Museum of Civilization. She liked the masks and things, but LOVED the Children’s Museum.

The Trio has re-located to the Westin and had our first night here. La Petite Fille misses her close contact with La Cousine, but things are hard to predict.

26 December: It’s been a busy couple of days leading up to the big Christmas event. We’ve been moving in, receiving guests, and opening presents! Follow all of the goings on on these pages:

22 December: I’ve blogged about the whole day on the Christmas page and posted another album of pictures under the name Burlington. As La Petite Fille exclaimed, “It’s cold in Canada!”

21 December: We arrived in Toronto and have put up pics from Hong Kong International and have blogged about it on the Christmas page.

20 December: During La Petite Fille’s nap at Hong Kong International, I uploaded some more pics to the sleep over page. These include a first — Christmas cookies! Also, I created a new page: Christmas 2009 where I will blog all of our adventures this season. And, just think, we’ve only been up and going for 12 hours and have 15 more to go!

19 December: I’ve uploaded a few of the pics from La Petite Fille’s sleep over with Do pronounced Yo), Di (Yeah), & Giang (Zang). The rest will have to wait until we’re in Canada. We leave in three hours!

17 December: We’ve added three photo albums! Check ‘em out! (i) Drawings!, (ii) Photos!, and (iii) July 2009.

14 December: Two new changes today! (i) I uploaded a new album to the Gallery of Photos entitled, “Pretty Pink Pirate Princess Pajamas” and (ii) I added a page called “From the Stats Page.
