Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, y'all! I know it's late, but that's the way things are being run nowadays. Gone are the days of the efficient and quick webmaster. Well, anywho. Here's our Christmas card.
I hope to have a Christmas Sai Gon 2008 page up soon. Along with some other photos of Madeleine having fun!
December 22, 2008 Trio Annex HCMC, Viet Nam
We've been a Trio again for almost a full week now, and things have been hectic. We've got a slew of updates for the website so be on the look out for the following items:
(i) I made a blog post and never posted it! Oops! I knew shortly after that happened that it had happened, but that's how hectic things have been: I haven't been able to post it.
(ii) I rarely add anything to the Fun Photos page, so I've made a special effort this holiday week.
(iii) We've got a couple of Firsts! (a) I've moved her first contribution to the website to the Firsts! page. (b) And, Madeleine sang in her first Christmas concert!
(iv) I've included other photos and video from the Christmas concert on the School page, too.
We've got the countdown to Christmas happening here at the Trio Annex where we seem to spend 80% of our time. I'll get some pictures of the festivities and decorations posted sometime over the next couple of days, too.
December 17, 2008 The Elizabeth Hotel 24 Mount Elizabeth Singapore
We're reporting today from the lovely Elizabeth Hotel here in beautiful Singapore. We will be leaving for the airport shortly and saying good-bye to what is truly one of the most beautiful and unique cities in the world. It has been a wonderful host for us, and especially its patron goddess Sri Mariammam -- more about her once the school term ends.
There is no blog update today, just the note here.
Another FIRST! Madeleine's first Trio post: abcdefghiiiiii
We created this web site to keep all you folks back home and around the world up to date with little Madeleine's progress. Yes, emails are possible, but a web site can hold so much more information. We especially wanted to have a place to announce her birth and fill you in with all the details. We'd like to apologize in advance to Jo's family, who are native French speakers. We know this is all in English and we wish we could have it bilingual, but that would be so much work and we know that you can understand English perfectly, so we are taking the lazy way out.
